Available after September 3. An incredible miniature species that is seldom offered. Looks rather like a little miniature artichoke that produces an amazing red inflorescence that is almost as big as the entire plant. No foreign sales as this species is listed on CITES II.

Extremely rare form of Ionantha! These are the first I have had in 15 years of collecting and selling Tillandsias. An unusual shaped clustering Ionantha in 3-4 inch clumps.

A nice little collection of the most popular species of Tillandsia. This group will typically consist of Ionantha Mexican, Guatemalan, "Peanut", Fuego and Rubra but may have substitutions depending on our inventory and the time of year. Very easy to grow plants that quickly become clusters of baby plants or "pups" and will eventually grow into large clumps. They will become a ball-shaped cluster if grown suspended by a wire hanger as the pups grow in all directions. Very cool and the plants take on amazing red or orange colors when blooming.

The Ionanthas are the most popular Tillandsia as they are easy to grow and are extremely colorful.

When coming into bud, Ionanthas "blush" with the leaves changing color to blazing red and orange with purple tubular flowers except for Peach and Albino which blush lighter shades of green and yellow with creamy-white flowers
